Le président américain a vanté l’abondante production d’hydrocarbures des Etats-Unis, et dénoncé les « prophètes de malheur », un message notamment adressé à la militante de l’environnement Greta Thunberg.

« Nous devons rejeter les éternels prophètes de malheur et leurs prédictions de l’apocalypse », a-t-il dit lors du Forum économique mondial, peu après que la jeune Suédoise eut regretté que « rien n’ait été fait » pour enrayer le changement climatique.

The American president praised the abundant production of hydrocarbons in the United States, and denounced the « prophets of doom », a message notably addressed to the environmental activist Greta Thunberg.
« A bomb like we’ve never seen before »
« We must reject the eternal prophets of doom and their predictions of the apocalypse, » he said at the World Economic Forum, shortly after the young Swede lamented that « nothing has been done » to stop climate change.
