Groupe de pop dance (disco diront certains), Voyage doit avant tout de la rencontre de 3 excellents musiciens de studio :
Marc Chantereau, Pierre-Alain Dahan et Slim Pezin.
Enregistré à Londres, le premier album passe régulièrement chez Régine. Or, il se trouve que ce même DJ parisien officie à New York et amène l’opus avec lui … qui est remarqué, signé par un label américain et vendu à quelque 2 millions d’exemplaires au pays de l’Oncle Sam.
La première vague de la French touch. Il n’en fallait pas plus pour sortir 3 autres disques qui ne connaîtront pas le même succès.
Que sont-ils devenus ?
Ils redeviennent musiciens de studio.
Marc Chantereau fut également le percussionniste de la comédie musicale Notre Dame de Paris.
L’anglaise Sylvia Mason-James poursuit une carrière solo avec un album en 1979 puis travaille avec George Michael ex Wham ! (en 1986) puis les Pet Shop Boys.
Pierre-Alain Dahan joue dans Shyllo en 1982 puis enregistre des musiques pour Walt Disney.

Pop dance group (some would say disco), Voyage owes above all to the meeting of 3 excellent studio musicians :
Marc Chantereau, Pierre-Alain Dahan et Slim Pezin.
Recorded in London, the first album plays regularly with Régine. However, it turns out that the same Parisian DJ officiates in New York and brings the opus with him … which is noticed, signed by an American label and sold some 2 million copies in the country of Uncle Sam.
