Un peu de chauvinisme helvétique et pourquoi pas?
Et bien oui, parce que j’aime mon pays.
Nous sommes zéro en matière de football mais nous avons le Tennis, le ski, nous avons nos artistes à l’international, notre fameux chocolat, notre fromage, nos montres associées à notre précision et à notre ponctualité, nos banques et notre discrétion, notre économie qui fonctionne bien si l’on compare avec nos voisins Européens et beaucoup de talents cachés comme par exemple: La Mère Etienne, (la Mère Etienne c’est moi, c’est le surnom qu’ils me donnent à la collocation). Peut-être pas de quoi s’extasier mais une petite fierté tout de même.

La chanson est une ballade sur une femme qui arrête d’attendre le retour de son amant absent. Le single a été un succès international, atteignant la 8e place du UK Singles Chart et la 16e place du Billboard Hot 100, faisant ainsi de Double le premier groupe suisse à atteindre le top 40 de ce dernier classement.

A bit of Swiss chauvinism and why not?
Yes, because I love my country.
We are zero when it comes to football but we have tennis, skiing, we have our international artists, our famous chocolate, our cheese, our watches associated with our precision and our punctuality, our banks and our discretion, our economy that works well if we compare with our European neighbors and many hidden talents such as: Mother Etienne, (Mother Etienne is me, that’s the nickname they give me at the collocation). Perhaps nothing to be ecstatic about, but a little pride all the same.
