Et si l’Internet s’arrêtait ?

Après une coupure globale plus ou moins longue du réseau social Facebook, beaucoup de commentaires allaient dans cette direction:

« J’ai cru que c’était la fin du monde ! »

Rappel :

Ce n’est pas l’Internet qui est stupide mais l’utilisation que l’on en fait !

Si internet devait subitement s’arrêter, pour beaucoup d’entre nous il s’agirait de la fin d’un certain monde. Toute l’économie mondiale ne peut se passer de cette technologie et, en cas de coupure, nous retournerions deux siècles en arrière.

Les gosses d’aujourd’hui qui baignent dans le virtuel  depuis la naissance en perdraient probablement leurs repaires et de facto la raison. Tout un pan de notre société serait appelé à disparaître.

L’internet est une arme à double tranchant, elle nous libère tout en nous esclavagisant.

Jamais l’humanité n’a été aussi vulnérable face à une technologie qu’elle ne maîtrise plus.

L’IA est sur le point de nous projeter dans un « no man’s land. »

What if the internet shut down?

After a more or less long global shutdown of the Facebook social network, many comments went in this direction:

« I thought it was the end of the world! »

Reminder:

It’s not the Internet that is stupid but the use we make of it!

And indeed, if the internet were to suddenly shut down, for many of us it would be the end of a kind of world. The entire world economy cannot do without this technology and in the event of a cut, we would go back two centuries behind.

Today’s kids who have been bathing in the internet since birth would lose their minds. A whole section of our society would disappear.

The internet is a double-edged sword, it liberates us while enslaving us.

Never has humanity been so vulnerable to a technology it no longer masters.

AI is on the verge of thrusting us into a « no man’s land. »
