Moya Brennan :

Sœur de la chanteuse Enya et chanteuse du groupe Chicane, Moya Brennan a connu un immense succès dans le monde de la trance à travers l’Europe durant l’été 1999 grâce au titre « Saltwater. » Ce morceau a atteint la 6ème. place des classements au Royaume-Uni et reprend des éléments de « Theme from Harry’s Game », un titre du groupe Clannad, qui s’était classé 5ème. au Royaume-Uni en 1982. (Enya a également fait partie de ce groupe au début des années 80.)

Salt Wather :

Plutôt que de simplement sampler la piste vocale originale, Moya a réenregistré sa voix, y apportant au passage quelques nouvelles touches.

Décès de la chanteuse :

Moya est malheureusement décédée plus tôt cette année, à l’âge de 73 ans.

Moya Brennan:

Moya Brennan sister of singer Enya and vocalist for the group Chicane achieved immense success in the European trance scene during the summer of 1999 with the track « Saltwater. » The song reached number 6 on the UK charts and incorporates elements of « Theme from Harry’s Game » by the band Clannad, which had peaked at number 5 in the UK in 1982. (Enya was also a member of that group in the early 1980s.)

Salt Wather:

Rather than simply sampling the original vocal track, Moya re-recorded her vocals, adding a few new touches in the process.

Death of the singer:

Moya sadly passed away earlier this year at the age of 73.
