Peter René Baumann, dit DJ BoBo, est un auteur-compositeur, producteur, danseur, chanteur et musicien suisse, né le à Kölliken, dans le canton d’Argovie d’une mère suisse et d’un père italien.
Emblématique de la musique eurodance des années 1990, il réalise plusieurs classiques du genre tels que Somebody Dance With Me, Everybody, Let the Dream Come True ou Love Is All Around. Ils sont toujours construits sur le même moule : un refrain entraînant chanté par une chanteuse, et un rap chanté par DJ BoBo.

Peter René Baumann, cunoscut sub numele de DJ BoBo, este un compozitor, producător, dansator, cântăreț și muzician elvețian, născut la 5 ianuarie 1968 în Kölliken, în cantonul Aargau, dintr-o mamă elvețiană și un tată italian.
Emblematic al muzicii Eurodance a anilor 1990, a produs mai multe clasice ale genului precum Somebody Dance With Me, Everybody, Let the Dream Come True sau Love Is All Around. Sunt încă construite pe aceeași matriță: un refren captivant cântat de un cântăreț și un rap cântat de DJ BoBo.

Peter René Baumann, known as DJ BoBo, is a Swiss songwriter, producer, dancer, singer and musician, born on January 5, 1968 in Kölliken, in the canton of Aargau to a Swiss mother and an Italian father.
Emblematic of the Eurodance music of the 1990s, he produced several classics of the genre such as Somebody Dance With Me, Everybody, Let the Dream Come True or Love Is All Around. They’re still built on the same mould: a catchy chorus sung by a singer, and a rap sung by DJ BoBo.
