Intrigué par un phénomène inhabituel dans le lac Berryessa, dans le comté de Napa en Californie, un youtubeur David B. a eu l’idée d’envoyer son drone en reconnaissance. Les images filmées par son appareil sont époustouflantes ! Ce phénomène n’est pas naturel mais créé par l’homme, il n’en est pas moins surprenant.

Le lac de Berryessa est un lac artificiel de barrage qui assure les besoins en eau et en électricité des habitants de la Baie de San Francisco. Après les pluies diluviennes de ces dernières années dans cette région, les niveaux d’eau sont au plus haut et pour évacuer l’eau, les ingénieurs ont fabriqués des trous d’eau géants qui redistribuent le trop-plein dans les ruisseaux en contrebas. Un siphon géant qui nous procure des images magnifiques.

Lake Berryessa is an artificial dam lake that supplies the water and electricity needs of the residents of the San Francisco Bay Area. After the torrential rains of recent years in this region, water levels are at their highest and to evacuate the water, engineers have made giant water holes that redistribute the overflow into the streams below. A giant siphon which gives us magnificent images.
