«Un politicien UDC qui expulse de son logement un locataire de longue date en raison d’un nombre élevé de migrants? Mais oui, bien sûr!» Le vice-président du PS du canton de Berne, Michael Grossenbacher, a usé d’ironie pour réagir au cas qui fait largement parler de lui Outre-Sarine: celui d’un locataire qui a été informé par la commune de Seegräben (ZH) qu’il devait quitter son appartement, propriété de la commune, pour que celle-ci y loge des réfugiés.
«Lorsque j’ai découvert ce cas sur les réseaux sociaux, j’ai tout de suite été intrigué et j’ai commencé à faire des recherches», dit-il. C’est un municipal UDC qui a signé la lettre qui congédie le locataire. Le président de la commune, élu PLR, lui, a expliqué ensuite aux médias que la décision avait été contrainte par les quotas imposés par le canton de Zurich: dans chaque commune, il doit y avoir un certain nombre de places pour héberger des réfugiés. Il fallait donc trouver des logements et il n’y avait d’autre choix que de virer ce locataire, qui vit dans un 5,5 pièces qui pourrait accueillir cinq réfugiés.
Or comme l’a relevé la télévision SRF (Télévision suisse alémanique), la commune atteindrait en fait déjà le quota requis, selon des chiffres du Canton. Et il n’y aurait donc aucune obligation de congédier le locataire. Pour Michael Grossenbacher, il y a anguille sous roche. Il accuse l’UDC d’avoir mis en scène toute l’affaire pour des raisons électoralistes. L’UDC, qui se positionne en défenseur des Suisses, aurait tout à gagner à faire mousser la colère du peuple contre des immigrants qui prendraient la place des Hélvètes… à quelques mois des élections fédérales.
Le président de la commune, Marco Pezzatti, conteste vigoureusement les accusations et défend son collègue UDC. «Tout ça n’a rien à voir avec un programme politique», dit-il. D’autant que sa vie n’est pas un long fleuve tranquille depuis qu’a éclaté l’affaire vendredi après-midi. Il a déjà reçu plus d’une centaine de mails haineux, avec parfois des menaces. Quant aux chiffres autour du quota de réfugiés à accueillir, il affirme que, dès lundi, des clarifications devront être menées pour comprendre pourquoi le Canton de Zurich n’a visiblement pas les mêmes données que celles dont lui est en possession.

Cu toate acestea, după cum a menționat televiziunea SRF (televiziunea elvețiană de limbă germană), municipalitatea ar atinge deja cota necesară, potrivit cifrelor din Canton. Și, prin urmare, nu ar exista nicio obligație de concediere a chiriașului. Pentru Michael Grossenbacher, există anghilă sub stâncă. El îl acuză pe SVP că a pus în scenă toată afacerea din motive electorale. SVP, care se poziționează ca un apărător al elveției, ar avea totul de câștigat din a stârni furia oamenilor împotriva imigranților care ar lua locul helveților… cu câteva luni înainte de alegerile federale.
Primarul orașului, Marco Pezzatti, contestă energic acuzațiile și vine în apărarea colegului său de la UDC. „Nu are nimic de-a face cu o agendă politică”, a spus el. Mai ales că viața lui nu a fost un râu lung calm de când a izbucnit aventura vineri după-amiază. A primit deja mai mult de o sută de e-mailuri de ură, uneori însoțite de amenințări. În ceea ce privește cifrele care înconjoară cota de refugiați ce urmează a fi primită, el precizează că de luni vor trebui făcute precizări pentru a înțelege de ce cantonul Zurich în mod clar nu are aceleași date ca cele aflate în posesia sa.

The president of the municipality, elected PLR, then explained to the media that the decision had been constrained by the quotas imposed by the canton of Zurich: in each municipality, there must be a certain number of places to accommodate refugees. It was therefore necessary to find housing and there was no other choice but to fire this tenant, who lives in a 5.5 room apartment which could accommodate five refugees.
However, as noted by SRF television (German-speaking Swiss Television), the municipality would in fact already reach the required quota, according to figures from the Canton. And there would therefore be no obligation to dismiss the tenant. For Michael Grossenbacher, there is eel under rock. He accuses the SVP of having staged the whole affair for electoral reasons. The SVP, which positions itself as a defender of the Swiss, would have everything to gain from stirring up the anger of the people against immigrants who would take the place of the Helvetii… a few months before the federal elections.
The president of the municipality, Marco Pezzatti, vigorously disputes the accusations and defends his colleague UDC. « This has nothing to do with a political program, » he said. Especially since his life has not been a long calm river since the affair broke out on Friday afternoon. He has already received more than a hundred hate mail, sometimes with threats. As for the figures around the quota of refugees to be welcomed, he affirms that, from Monday, clarifications will have to be carried out to understand why the Canton of Zurich obviously does not have the same data as those in its possession.
