Au Japon, les habitants produisent du bois depuis 700 ans sans abattre d’arbres.
Au 14ème siècle, l’extraordinaire technique du Daisugi est née au Japon. En effet, la technique du Daisugi prévoit que ces arbres seront plantés pour les générations futures et ne seront pas coupés mais taillés comme s’il s’agissait de bonsaïs géants ; en appliquant cette technique aux cèdres, le bois qui peut être obtenu est uniforme, droit et sans nœuds, pratiquement parfait pour la construction.
Une taille dans les règles de l’art, qui permet à l’arbre de grandir et de germer en utilisant son bois, sans jamais le couper.

Kitaro est un musicien “new age” né le à Toyohashi au Japon.
Son vrai nom est Masanori Takahashi. Son pseudonyme lui a été donné plus tard par quelques amis, pour qui sa chevelure évoquait celle du personnage principal du manga d’épouvante de Shigeru Mizuki Kitaro le repoussant, qui était diffusé alors sous forme de dessin animé au Japon.

In Japan, people have been producing wood for 700 years without cutting down trees.

Kitaro is a “new age” musician born February 4, 1953 in Toyohashi, Japan.
His real name is Masanori Takahashi. His pseudonym was later given to him by a few friends, for whom his hair resembled that of the main character in Shigeru’s horror manga Mizuki Kitaro Repelling Him, which was then released as a cartoon in Japan.
