The Goonies est une comédie d’aventure américaine de 1985 coproduite et réalisée par Richard Donner à partir d’un scénario de Chris Columbus, basé sur une histoire de Steven Spielberg. Dans le film, des enfants qui vivent dans le quartier « Goon Docks » d’Astoria, dans l’Oregon, tentent de sauver leur maison de la saisie et, ce faisant, ils découvrent une vieille carte au trésor qui les emmène dans une aventure extraordinaire. Au cours de l’aventure, ils sont poursuivis par une famille de criminels.
Produit par Amblin Entertainment de Spielberg, Warner Bros a sorti le film en salles le 7 juin 1985 aux États-Unis. Le film a rapporté 125 millions de dollars dans le monde sur un budget de 19 millions de dollars et est depuis devenu un film culte. An extraordinary treasure hunt
The Goonies is a 1985 American adventure comedy film co-produced and directed by Richard Donner from a screenplay by Chris Columbus, based on a story by Steven Spielberg. In the film, kids who live in the « Goon Docks » neighborhood of Astoria, Oregon, attempt to save their homes from foreclosure and, in doing so, they discover an old treasure map that takes them on an adventure to unearth the long-lost fortune of One-Eyed Willy, a legendary 17th-century pirate. During the adventure, they are chased by a family of criminals who want the treasure for themselves.
Produced by Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment, Warner Bros. released the film theatrically on June 7, 1985, in the United States. The film grossed $125 million worldwide on a budget of $19 million and has since become a cult film. In 2017, the film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being « culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant ».
C’est au début du 17e siècle que les croyances populaires commencent à évoquer des revenants et des buveurs de sang. À l’époque, les effets de l’ail sont une telle croyance que les entrées des maisons en sont frottées pour repousser les vampires.
Quoi qu’il en soit, l’ail a en effet des vertus antiseptiques. Il s’agit d’un très puissant antibiotique naturel qui a la particularité de purifier le sang. Lorsque j’étais adolescent, je faisais ce que l’on appelle de l’acné grave et tous les médicaments n’en venaient pas à bout. C’est une de nos voisines, une grand-mère que j’adorais qui me donna la combine pour me débarrasser de cette disgrâce une bonne fois pour toutes: Chaque matin, à jeun, frotter une gousse d’ail sur un morceau de pain imbibé d’l’huile d’olive vierge. Sans exagérer, le traitement dura 2 semaines et je retrouvais une peau aussi lisse que celle d’un bébé.

Garlic, the wonderful anti-poison
Against vampires:
It was at the beginning of the 17th century that popular beliefs began to evoke ghosts and blood drinkers. At the time, the effects of garlic were such a belief that the entrances of houses were rubbed with it to repel vampires.
In any case, garlic does indeed have antiseptic properties. It is a very powerful natural antibiotic that has the particularity of purifying the blood. When I was a teenager, I had what is called severe acne and all the medications could not get rid of it. It was one of our neighbors, a grandmother that I adored, who gave me the trick to get rid of this disgrace once and for all: Every morning, on an empty stomach, rub a clove of garlic on a piece of bread soaked in virgin olive oil. Without exaggerating, the treatment lasted 2 weeks and I found skin as smooth as a baby’s.

L’action de Stargate SG-1 commence un peu plus d’un an après celle du film Stargate, la porte des étoiles. Le programme est plus ou moins à l’abandon et le colonel O’Neill est à la retraite. Mais un commando extraterrestre avec des uniformes similaires à ceux des soldats de Râ traverse la porte des étoiles et envahit la base du Stargate Command (SGC) sur Terre.
Le général Hammond veut alors envoyer une autre bombe atomique sur Abydos. O’Neill se voit alors obligé d’avouer qu’il a menti dans son rapport de mission l’année dernière et qu’il a fait exploser la précédente bombe nucléaire dans le vaisseau de Râ et non à la surface, et du même coup que Daniel Jackson est toujours vivant et qu’il garde la porte sur Abydos. Après un échange de messages, O’Neill part sur la planète et se voit confirmer par Daniel qu’aucun Goa’uld n’a traversé la porte. Ce dernier explique alors qu’il existe un réseau de plus d’une centaine de portes menant à autant de mondes différents, et que sur Abydos il a trouvé toute une série de coordonnées qui ne semblent plus fonctionner…

Stargate SG-1 begins a little over a year after the film Stargate. The program is more or less abandoned and Colonel O’Neill is retired. But an alien commando with uniforms similar to those of Ra’s soldiers comes through the Stargate and invades the Stargate Command (SGC) base on Earth.
General Hammond then wants to send another atomic bomb to Abydos. O’Neill is then forced to confess that he lied in his mission report last year and that he detonated the previous nuclear bomb in Ra’s ship and not on the surface, and at the same time that Daniel Jackson is still alive and guarding the gate on Abydos. After an exchange of messages, O’Neill leaves for the planet and is confirmed by Daniel that no Goa’uld has passed through the gate. The latter then explains that there is a network of over a hundred gates leading to as many different worlds, and that on Abydos he found a whole series of coordinates that no longer seem to work…

« Le voyage de Chihiro »
Le Voyage de Chihiro (千と千尋の神隠し, Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi?, littéralement « Kamikakushi de Sen et Chihiro ») est un film d’animation japonais écrit et réalisé par Hayao Miyazaki et produit par le studio Ghibli, sorti en 2001.
Le film raconte l’histoire de Chihiro, une fillette de dix ans qui, alors qu’elle se rend en famille vers sa nouvelle maison, entre dans le monde des esprits. Après la transformation de ses parents en porcs par la sorcière Yubaba, Chihiro prend un emploi dans l’établissement de bains de la sorcière pour retrouver ses parents et regagner le monde des humains.
Miyazaki écrit le scénario en s’inspirant de la fille de son producteur associé, Seiji Okuda, qui vient lui rendre visite chaque été. Il y développe plusieurs thèmes qui lui sont chers, dont l’intégration par le travail collectif, le voyage initiatique, le renouement avec les valeurs ancestrales (notamment le shinto) et le danger de la société moderne pour la nature et les traditions. Enola Gay est un bombardier Boeing B-29 Superfortress, nommé d’après Enola Gay Tibbets, la mère du pilote, le colonel Paul Tibbets. Le 6 août 1945, piloté par Tibbets et Robert A. Lewis pendant les dernières étapes de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, il est devenu le premier avion à larguer une bombe atomique. La bombe, qui porte le nom de code « Little Boy », visait la ville d’Hiroshima, au Japon, et causa la destruction presque complète de la ville.
Enola Gay a participé à la deuxième attaque atomique en tant qu’avion de reconnaissance météorologique pour la cible principale de Kokura. Les nuages et la fumée à la dérive ont entraîné le bombardement d’une cible secondaire, Nagasaki.

The Enola Gay is a Boeing B-29 Superfortress bomber, named after Enola Gay Tibbets, the mother of the pilot, Colonel Paul Tibbets. On 6 August 1945, piloted by Tibbets and Robert A. Lewis during the final stages of World War II, it became the first aircraft to drop an atomic bomb. The bomb, code-named « Little Boy », was targeted at the city of Hiroshima, Japan, and caused the near-complete destruction of the city.
Enola Gay participated in the second atomic attack as the weather reconnaissance aircraft for the primary target of Kokura. Clouds and drifting smoke resulted in a secondary target, Nagasaki, being bombed instead.

The monks are convinced that Jesse could be the reincarnation of one of their most eminent spiritual leaders. They then give him a book narrating the life of Siddhartha and await his visit to the Himalayas.
