Avec ce titre : “Fade to grey” Steve Strange du groupe Visage culmina en tête des hit-parades durant plusieurs mois. Strange était un des leaders du mouvement New romantics et avec la sortie de l’album, “Fade to grey” distribué par le label Polydor,  il fut à l’origine d’un tournant décisif dans la musique des 30 glorieuses.

Plusieurs projets dans les années 2000 et notamment ce remixe entre “Fade to grey” et Magic Fly” de Didier Marouani dont le résultat donna “Fade to love” ainsi que de multiples remixes entre les deux groupes, projet qui a malheureusement été stoppé suite au décès prématuré de Steve Strange survenu en 2015.

« Fade to grey »

With the track « Fade to Grey, » Steve Strange of the band Visage topped the charts for several months. Strange was a leading figure of the New Romantic movement, and with the release of the « Fade to Grey » album distributed by Polydor, he spearheaded a decisive turning point in the music of the post-war era.

Several projects in the 2000s and in particular this remix between “Fade to gray” and Magic Fly ”by Didier Marouani, the result of which gave a“ Fade to love ”as well as multiple remixes between the two groups, a project which was unfortunately stopped following to Steve Strange’s untimely death in 2015.
