« Seven Days and One Week » est une chanson du groupe de musique électronique italo-français B.B.E. Ce titre est sorti en juillet 1996 en tant que premier single de leur premier album, Games (1996). En tant que représentant du son éphémère de (short-lived dream house sound,) la chanson est devenue l’un des 10 meilleurs succès mondiaux, atteignant notamment le numéro un en Espagne, le numéro deux en Belgique, en Finlande, en Irlande et en Italie, et le numéro trois en Allemagne, aux Pays-Bas et Le Royaume-Uni. Sur l’Eurochart Hot 100, il a également atteint la troisième place.

Ce titre mondialement connu a été composé sur un coin de table dans une cuisine en 15 minutes.

Malheureusement trop vite disparut Mark David Hollis leader du groupe “Talk talk” nous revient histoire de nous rappeler que les années 80 et 90 furent fastes en matière de créations musicales.

Il est connu pour avoir d’abord officié en tant que chanteur et compositeur au sein du groupe Talk Talk de  (sortie du single Mirror Man) à  (sortie du single New Grass) avant d’entreprendre une carrière solo avec la sortie, en , d’un album : Mark Hollis (Polydor). Avec son groupe, il s’inscrit dans la vague new wave ou pop à ses débuts, avant de s’en éloigner petit à petit au profit d’une musique plus épurée parfois qualifiée de post-rock ou d’expérimentale.

Oblivion, ou L’Oubli au Québec, est un film de science-fiction post-apocalyptique américain écrit, produit et réalisé par Joseph Kosinski, et sorti en 2013. Le scénario est inspiré du comics du même nom.

Synopsis:

2077 : Jack Harper, en station sur la planète Terre dont toute la population a été évacuée, est en charge de la sécurité et de la réparation des drones. Suite à des décennies de guerre contre une force extra-terrestre terrifiante qui a ravagé la Terre, Jack fait partie d’une gigantesque opération d’extraction des dernières ressources nécessaires à la survie des siens. Sa mission touche à sa fin. Dans à peine deux semaines, il rejoindra le reste des survivants dans une colonie spatiale à des milliers de kilomètres de cette planète dévastée qu’il considère néanmoins comme son chez-lui.

Vivant et patrouillant à très haute altitude de ce qu’il reste de la Terre, la vie « céleste » de Jack est bouleversée quand il assiste au crash d’un vaisseau spatial et décide de porter secours à la belle inconnue qu’il renferme. Ressentant pour Jack une attirance et une affinité qui défient toute logique, Julia déclenche par sa présence une suite d’événements qui pousse Jack à remettre en question tout ce qu’il croyait savoir.

Ce qu’il pensait être la réalité vole en éclats quand il est confronté à certains éléments de son passé qui avaient été effacés de sa mémoire. Se découvrant une nouvelle mission, Jack est poussé à une forme d’héroïsme dont il ne se serait jamais cru capable. Le sort de l’humanité est entre les mains d’un homme qui croyait que le seul monde qu’il a connu allait bientôt être perdu à tout jamais.

Synopsis:

2077: Jack Harper, staționat pe planeta Pământ de pe care a fost evacuată întreaga populație, se ocupă de siguranța și repararea dronelor. După decenii de război împotriva unei forțe extraterestre terifiante care a devastat Pământul, Jack face parte dintr-o operațiune gigantică de extragere a ultimelor resurse necesare supraviețuirii poporului său. Misiunea lui se va termina în curând. În doar două săptămâni, el se va alătura celorlalți supraviețuitori într-o colonie spațială la mii de mile de această planetă devastată pe care o numește totuși acasă.

Trăind și patrulând la foarte mare altitudine ceea ce a mai rămas din Pământ, viața „cerească” a lui Jack este răsturnată când este martor la prăbușirea unei nave spațiale și decide să salveze frumoasa străină pe care o conține. Simțind o atracție și o afinitate pentru Jack care sfidează orice logică, Julia declanșează prin prezența ei o serie de evenimente care îl împinge pe Jack să pună la îndoială tot ceea ce credea că știe.

Ceea ce credea el că este realitatea este spulberat atunci când se confruntă cu anumite elemente din trecutul său care i-au fost șterse din memorie. Descoperind o nouă misiune, Jack este condus către o formă de eroism de care nu a crezut niciodată că este capabil. Soarta omenirii stă în mâinile unui om care credea că singura lume pe care o cunoștea va fi în curând pierdută pentru totdeauna.

Synopsis:

2077: Jack Harper, stationed on planet Earth from which the entire population has been evacuated, is in charge of the safety and repair of the drones. Following decades of war against a terrifying alien force that has ravaged the Earth, Jack is part of a gigantic operation to extract the last resources necessary for the survival of his people. His mission will be over soon. In just two weeks, he will join the rest of the survivors in a space colony thousands of miles from this devastated planet that he nevertheless calls home.

Lorsque la musique parle

C’est à lui que nous devons la musique de Flashdance, Midnight express, L’histoire sans fin (The neverending story), Scarface pour ne citer que ces titres prestigieux. Nous luis devons également les plus belles chansons de la regrettée Donna Summer entre autres. Giorgio Moroder est le Beethoven de notre temps. (Un petit clin d’oeil à mon ami Lucas.)

Sans ce compositeur de génie, la musique d’aujourd’hui ne serait pas ce qu’elle est.

Mon cher Giogio, toi et le regretté Vangelis ont fait de moi ce que je suis aujourd’hui, un compositeur. Au travers de votre musique vous m’avez évadé, fait voyager. Laissez moi maladroitement vous remercier.

De asemenea, îi datorăm cele mai frumoase cântece ale regretatei Donna Summer, pentru a numi doar una. Giorgio Moroder este Beethoven-ul timpului nostru. (Un mic cu ochiul prietenului meu Lucas.)

Fără acest geniu compozitor, muzica de astăzi nu ar fi ceea ce este.

Dragul meu Giogio, tu și regretatul Vangelis m-ai făcut ceea ce sunt astăzi, un compozitor. Prin muzica ta ai scapat de mine, m-ai facut sa calatoresc. Mulțumesc stângaci.

We also owe to him the most beautiful songs of the late Donna Summer, to name but one. Giorgio Moroder is the Beethoven of our time. (A little wink to my friend Lucas.)

Without this genius composer, today’s music would not be what it is.

My dear Giogio, you and the late Vangelis made me what I am today, a composer. Through your music you escaped me, made me travel. Let me awkwardly thank you.

L’ombre et la proie est un film d’aventure historique américain de 1996 réalisé par Stephen Hopkins et mettant en vedette Val Kilmer et Michael Douglas. Le scénario, écrit par William Goldman, est un récit fictif des mangeurs d’hommes de Tsavo, un couple de lions mâles qui terrorisaient les ouvriers de Tsavo et de ses environs, au Kenya, lors de la construction du chemin de fer Ouganda-Mombasa en Afrique de l’Est en 1898.

Synopsis:

En 1896, le lieutenant-colonel John Patterson, fringant et brillant ingénieur, part en Afrique pour une mission aussi éxaltante que délicate: superviser la construction d’une ligne ferroviaire reliant Mombassa au lac Victoria. Sur le chantier, Patterson se fait tout de suite respecter de ses hommes en tuant d’une seule balle un lion en maraude. Mais, quelques jours plus tard, un ouvrier est attaqué et déchiqueté par un autre félin. C’est le début d’une hécatombe.

Scenariul, scris de William Goldman, este o relatare fictivă despre devoratorii de oameni Tsavo, o pereche de lei masculi care au terorizat muncitorii din Tsavo și din jurul său, în timpul construcției căii ferate Uganda-Mombasa în Africa de Est, în 1898.

Rezumat:

În 1896, locotenent-colonelul John Patterson, un inginer strălucitor și strălucit, a plecat în Africa pentru o misiune pe cât de incitantă, pe atât de delicată: să supravegheze construcția unei linii de cale ferată care să lege Mombasa de Lacul Victoria. The Ghost and the Darkness is a 1996 American historical adventure film directed by Stephen Hopkins and starring Val Kilmer and Michael Douglas. The screenplay, written by William Goldman, is a fictionalized account of the Tsavo man-eaters, a pair of male lions that terrorized workers in and around Tsavo, Kenya during the building of the Uganda-Mombasa Railway in East Africa in 1898.

Synopsis:

In 1896, Lieutenant Colonel John Patterson, a dashing and brilliant engineer, left for Africa for a mission as exciting as it was delicate: to supervise the construction of a railway line linking Mombasa to Lake Victoria. On the construction site, Patterson immediately earned the respect of his men by killing a marauding lion with a single bullet. But, a few days later, a worker is attacked and torn to pieces by another feline. It is the beginning of a massacre.

Dans un futur lointain, la Terre est devenue une « planète interdite » pour les humains éparpillés dans l’Espace : la planète ne dispose pas d’assez de ressources pour héberger toute l’Humanité. Le commandant du vaisseau spatial Arcadia, le capitaine Albator, est un pirate de l’espace épris de liberté. Condamné à mort, il demeure insaisissable. Albator a choisi d’affronter la Coalition GAIA.

Le jeune Yama, fragile, dont le frère ainé, Esra (Esora en VO), handicapé, à cause de ce jeune frère, selon lui et qu’il culpabilise pour mieux le manipuler, amiral en chef, de surcroît, des forces spatiales terriennes, est envoyé par GAIA pour infiltrer l’équipage par ce dernier, détruire le vaisseau et tuer Albator.

Comandantul navei spațiale Arcadia, căpitanul Harlock, este un pirat spațial iubitor de libertate. Condamnat la moarte, el rămâne evaziv. Căpitanul Harlock a ales să facă față coaliției GAIA.

Tânărul Yama, firav, al cărui frate mai mare, Esra (Esora în VO), este handicapat, din cauza acestui frate mai mic, potrivit lui și că îl face să se simtă vinovat pentru a-l manipula mai bine, amiralul șef al forțelor spațiale al Pământului este trimis de GAIA să se infiltreze în echipaj de către acesta din urmă, să distrugă nava și să-l omoare pe Harlock.

Le temps est une construction 3D créée par l’homme. Dans les dimensions supérieures, le temps n’existe pas parce que nous vivons tout se qui se passe simultanément dans le maintenant en tant que UN.

Le Cinquième Élément est un film de science-fiction français tourné en langue anglaise, coécrit et réalisé par Luc Besson, sorti en 1997.

Nommé aux César et aux Oscars, le film obtient trois César dont celui du meilleur réalisateur.

Le film a été le plus grand succès au box-office France 1997, et fait partie des productions françaises ayant fait le plus de recettes à l’international. Malgré un accueil critique mitigé, il a également acquis le statut de film culte.

Synopsis:

Egypte, 1914. Des extraterrestres récupèrent quatre pierres magiques, symboles des quatre éléments, jadis confiées à des prêtres. Avant de partir, les extraterrestres promettent que dans 300 ans, ils rapporteront les précieux cailloux. Au XXIIIe siècle, alors qu’ils font route vers la Terre, ils sont anéantis par la planète du Mal. Les habitants de ce monde maléfique, les Mangalores, s’emparent des pierres et foncent vers la Terre.

Nominalizat la Césars și Oscar, filmul a câștigat trei premii César, inclusiv cel pentru cel mai bun regizor.

Filmul a avut cel mai mare succes la box office-ul din Franța în 1997 și este una dintre producțiile franceze cu cele mai mari încasări la nivel internațional. În ciuda unei recepții critice mixte, a câștigat și statutul de film cult.

Rezumat:

Egipt, 1914. Extratereștrii recuperează patru pietre magice, simboluri ale celor patru elemente, cândva încredințate preoților. Înainte de a pleca, extratereștrii promit că în 300 de ani vor aduce înapoi pietrele prețioase. În secolul al 23-lea, în timp ce se îndreaptă spre Pământ, ei sunt distruși de planeta rea. Locuitorii acestei lumi malefice, Mangalores, apucă pietrele și se grăbesc spre Pământ.

Nominated for the Césars and the Oscars, the film won three Césars including that for best director.

The film was the biggest success at the France box office in 1997, and is one of the highest-grossing French productions internationally. Despite a mixed critical reception, it has also gained the status of a cult film.

Synopsis:

Egypt, 1914. Extraterrestrials recover four magic stones, symbols of the four elements, once entrusted to priests. Before leaving, the aliens promise that in 300 years, they will bring back the precious stones. In the 23rd century, while they are heading towards Earth, they are wiped out by the evil planet. The inhabitants of this evil world, the Mangalores, grab the stones and rush towards Earth.
