« L’enfant maltraité » de Michelle Magorian est le titre français parfois donné au célèbre roman Bonne nuit, Monsieur Tom (Goodnight Mister Tom). Publié en 1981, ce classique de la littérature jeunesse raconte la reconstruction de William Beech, un jeune Londonien maltraité et évacué à la campagne pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, grâce à l’affection d’un vieil homme bourru, Tom Oakley.

  • Intrigue : Durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, Willie Beech, un enfant craintif et traumatisé par une mère abusive, est placé chez Tom Oakley, un vieil homme solitaire endurci par le deuil.
  • Transformation : Tom, d’abord réticent, s’attache à l’enfant. Sous ses soins bienveillants, Willie s’épanouit, découvre l’amitié et guérit peu à peu de ses blessures physiques et psychologiques.
  • Thèmes : Le roman aborde la maltraitance infantile, le traumatisme de la guerre, l’évacuation des enfants, et la force de l’amour filial et de l’amitié pour surmonter les épreuves.
  • Adaptation : Le livre a été adapté en un téléfilm très célèbre sur YouTube avec John Thaw dans le rôle de M. Tom.

Ne pensez-vous pas qu’au lieu de gaspiller votre énergie à vous résigner à votre sort sur les réseaux sociaux, il serait peut-être temps de vous réveiller au nom du bien commun mais aussi et surtout pour les générations futures ?

Cessez de vous laisser tondre et agissez en utilisant ce que vous mettez en sourdine depuis bien trop longtemps, à savoir: votre lucidité et votre intelligence. »

Oblivion, est un film de science-fiction post-apocalyptique américain écrit, produit et réalisé par Joseph Kosinski, et sorti en 2013. Le scénario est inspiré du comics du même nom.

Synopsis:

En 2077, Jack Harper fait partie d’une opération d’extraction des dernières ressources de la terre. Sa mission touche à sa fin. Dans à peine deux semaines, il rejoindra le reste des survivants dans une colonie spatiale à des milliers de kilomètres de cette planète dévastée qu’il considère néanmoins comme son chez-lui.

Oblivion (Bande originale du film) est la bande originale du film de 2013 du même nom, avec la partition originale composée par Anthony Gonzalez du projet de musique électronique français M83 et Joseph Trapanese.  M83 a été crédité pour la bande originale. L’album contient de la musique électronique et orchestrale qui a été enregistrée spécifiquement pour le film pendant plus d’un an. Outre la partition, une chanson du film de six minutes est sortie en single le 2 avril 2013. La bande originale est sortie en formats numérique et physique le 16 avril éditée par Back Lot Music, avec une édition deluxe sortie le même jour. Elle est ensuite sortie en vinyle sous le label Mondo le 30 avril de la même année.

Oblivion (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is the soundtrack to the 2013 film of the same name featuring the original score composed by Anthony Gonzalez of the French electronic music project M83 and Joseph Trapanese. However, M83 was credited for the soundtrack. The album features electronic and orchestral music that was recorded specifically for the film for more than a year. Aside from the score, a six-minute title track was released as the single from the film on April 2, 2013. The soundtrack was released in digital and physical formats on April 16 by Back Lot Music, along with a deluxe edition released on the same day. It was released on vinyl by Mondo on April 30.

Ring My Bell est une chanson disco de 1979 écrite par Frederick Knight et interprétée par Anita Ward.

« Ring My Bell » s’est hissé à la première place du Billboard Hot 100, du Disco Top 80 et du classement Soul Singles en juin 1979. Il a également atteint la première place du classement des singles au Royaume-Uni. Le succès de la chanson a valu à Ward une nomination aux Grammy Awards de 1980 dans la catégorie Meilleure performance vocale féminine R&B.

La chanson a été écrite à l’origine pour Stacy Lattisaw, alors âgée de onze ans, comme une chanson pour adolescents sur les conversations téléphoniques entre enfants. Lorsque Lattisaw a signé avec une autre maison de disques, on a demandé à la chanteuse et musicienne américaine Anita Ward de l’interpréter à sa place, et ce fut son seul grand succès.

Knock on Wood est un album studio d’Amii Stewart sorti en février 1979. L’album a donné lieu à deux sorties de singles à succès, « Knock on Wood » et « Light My Fire / Disco Heaven ». Un double single face A avec des versions remixées de « Knock on Wood » et « Light My Fire » a atteint la 7e place des charts britanniques en 1985, suivi d’une réédition de « You Really Touched My Heart »

L’album original Knock on Wood dans son intégralité reste officiellement inédit sur disque compact, une sortie semi-officielle a été publiée en Russie en 1999. Cette sortie associe cet album à la sortie suivante Paradise Bird et à un titre bonus « My Guy, My Girl », et comprend toutes les illustrations originales.

Knock on Wood is a studio album by Amii Stewart released in February 1979. The album yielded two successful single releases, « Knock on Wood » and « Light My Fire /  Disco Heaven ». A double A-side single with remixed versions of « Knock on Wood » and « Light My Fire » reached #7 on the UK charts in 1985 followed by a re-issue of « You Really Touched My Heart. »

The original Knock on Wood album in its entirety remains officially unreleased on compact disc, a semi-official release was issued in Russia in 1999 on AS4000.  This release paired this album with the follow-up release Paradise Bird and one bonus track « My Guy, My Girl », and includes all original artwork.

Le groupe Eruption, un autre Boney M.

Eruption est un groupe britannique de disco, actif entre 1965 et 1985. Il a son plus gros tube en 1977 avec le titre I Can’t Stand the Rain, une reprise d’Ann Peebles.

Le groupe est formé en 1969 en tant que groupe scolaire au Royaume-Uni sous le nom de Silent Eruption, et était composé de musiciens d’origine caribéenne. Le groupe change de nom pour devenir Eruption en 1974. Precious Wilson rejoint le groupe en 1974 en tant que choriste et un an plus tard, en 1975, ils remportent le concours RCA Soul Search et leur premier single « Let Me Take You Back in Time sort ». Le groupe ne trouve pas de chanteur capable de remplacer Lindel Leslie et la choriste Precious Wilson devient donc la chanteuse principale. Leur manager signe un contrat pour plusieurs concerts en Allemagne. En 1977, ils partent en tournée en Allemagne où ils sont découverts par Hans-Jörg Mayer qui travaille comme découvreur de talents pour Frank Farian (le producteur de Boney M.) Farian signe le groupe avec Hansa Records, basé en Allemagne, et le groupe devient le backing band et la première partie de la première tournée européenne de Boney M.

Eruption is a British disco group, active between 1965 and 1985. They had their biggest hit in 1977 with the song I Can’t Stand the Rain, a cover of an Ann Peebles song.

The group was formed in 1969 as a school band in the UK under the name Silent Eruption, and was composed of musicians of Caribbean descent. The group changed its name to Eruption in 1974. Precious Wilson joined the group in 1974 as a backing vocalist, and a year later, in 1975, they won the RCA Soul Search competition and released their first single, « Let Me Take You Back in Time. » Unable to find a suitable replacement for Lindel Leslie, the backing vocalist Precious Wilson became the lead singer. Their manager then signed them to a contract for several concerts in Germany. In 1977, they went on tour in Germany where they were discovered by Hans-Jörg Mayer who worked as a talent scout for Frank Farian (Boney M.’s producer). Farian signed the group with Hansa Records, based in Germany, and the group became the backing band and opening act for Boney M.’s first European tour.
