L’acteur et producteur Ike Eisenman faisait partie du monde magique de mon enfance. C’est avec la série « Voyage extraordinaire » diffusée sur les petits écrans de France que je découvris cet acteur puis lors d’un voyage en Californie dans la ville de Burbak que je fis la connaissance d’Ike.

C’est cette incroyable et éphémère amitié qui fit prendre à ma vie un tournant aussi atypique qu’inattendu.

Quelques images et d’amicales pensées que je transmet à cet acteur qui devint mon ami et que je n’oublierai jamais.

Actorul și producătorul Ike Eisenman a făcut parte din lumea magică a copilăriei mele. Tocmai cu serialul „Voyage extraordinaire” difuzat pe micile ecrane ale Franței l-am descoperit pe acest actor atunci în timpul unei călătorii în California, în orașul Burbak, când l-am cunoscut pe Ike.

Această prietenie incredibilă și trecătoare a făcut viața mea să ia o întorsătură atât de incredibilă și neașteptată.

François Feldman est d’origine russe par son père, tailleur, et belge par sa mère, infirmière scolaire au CES Romain-Rolland de Clichy-sous-Bois en Seine-Saint-Denis où vivait sa famille, Il a deux frères aînés.

Il grandit en banlieue parisienne et passe son adolescence, à Clichy-sous-Bois, au son de la musique soul, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder et James Brown notamment. Sa première guitare lui est offerte par son père à quatorze ans.

A crescut în suburbiile Parisului și și-a petrecut adolescența în Clichy-sous-Bois, pe sunetul muzicii soul, în special pe Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder și James Brown. Prima sa chitară i-a fost dăruită de tatăl său când avea paisprezece ani.

François Feldman is of Russian descent by his father and Belgian by his mother. He attended the Romain-Rolland CES in Clichy-sous-Bois in Seine-Saint-Denis, where his family lived. He has two older brothers.

He grew up in the suburbs of Paris and spent his adolescence in Clichy-sous-Bois, to the sound of soul music, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and James Brown in particular. His first guitar was given to him by his father when he was fourteen.

Written and produced by Madonna and Patrick Leonard, the song heralded an artistic and personal approach to songwriting for Madonna, who believed that she needed to cater more to her adult audience. Thematically, « Like a Prayer » speaks about a passionate young girl in love with God, who becomes the only male figure in her life.

Quand Giorgio Moroder revisitait le film Metropolis

A 75 ans, Moroder sort son premier album depuis trente ans.

C’est en 1984, lors du Festival de Cannes que le film de Fritz Lang réalisé en 1927, « Metropolis » est présenté pour la première fois sous une nouvelle version. A l’origine, le chef d’oeuvre de science-fiction (film muet et en noir et blanc), était accompagné d’une bande son composée par Gottfried Huppertz et jouée par un orchestre symphonique. Il s’était alors inspiré de Wagner et de Strauss dans un esprit de modernité pour décrire la ville des travailleurs.

Ainsi, la première reprise du film sortie en 1984 doit sa particularité à sa bande son. En effet, dans un tout autre genre, c’est une musique de style rock new wave qui accompagne les images du film, qui ont été colorisées. Cette bande-son est écrite par Giorgio Moroder, et enregistrée avec la chanteuse américaine Pat Benatar, et britannique Jon Anderson, et enfin le génial Freddie Mercury, pour ne citer qu’eux. Ces changements changent radicalement l’aspect du film tout en en conservant l’esprit. Moroder s’approprie le film en y ajoutant des effets sonores, de la couleur aux images, et une teinte pop-rock ! Le résultat est convainquant !

Inițial, capodopera science fiction (film mut și alb-negru), a fost însoțită de o coloană sonoră compusă de Gottfried Huppertz și interpretată de o orchestră simfonică. Apoi a fost inspirat de Wagner și Strauss într-un spirit de modernitate pentru a descrie orașul muncitorilor.

Astfel, prima renaștere a filmului lansat în 1984 își datorează particularitatea coloanei sonore. Într-adevăr, într-un gen complet diferit, este o muzică în stil rock new wave care însoțește imaginile filmului, care au fost colorate. When Giorgio Moroder revisited the movie Metropolis

It was in 1984, during the Cannes Film Festival that Fritz Lang’s 1927 film « Metropolis » was presented for the first time in a new version. Originally, the science fiction masterpiece (silent and black and white film), was accompanied by a soundtrack composed by Gottfried Huppertz and played by a symphony orchestra. He was then inspired by Wagner and Strauss in a spirit of modernity to describe the city of workers.

Thus, the first revival of the film released in 1984 owes its particularity to its soundtrack. Indeed, in a completely different genre, it is a new wave rock style music that accompanies the images of the film, which have been colorized. This soundtrack is written by Giorgio Moroder, and recorded with American singer Pat Benatar, and British singer Jon Anderson, and finally the brilliant Freddie Mercury, to name but a few. These changes radically change the look of the film while retaining its spirit. Moroder appropriates the film by adding sound effects, color to the images, and a pop-rock tinge! Fantômes contre fantômes  (The Frighteners) est un film américano-néo-zélandais réalisé par Peter Jackson, sorti en 1996.

Synopsis:

En 1990, la petit ville de Fairwater en Californie connait une vague de meurtres non élucidées. Les victimes sont retrouvées intactes, avec pour seul stigmate un numéro inscrit par un objet coupant sur le front. Les enterrements se multiplient, laissant la population inquiète et la Police impuissante.

Frank Bannister, médium à la triste réputation, essaye tant bien que mal de trouver des clients afin de terminer la maison qu’il a entrepris de construire avec sa femme, disparue dans un étrange accident de voiture survenu quelques années auparavant.

Depuis cet accident, Franck a acquis la capacité de voir les fantômes. Il utilise cette aptitude en poussant deux fantômes avec qui il s’est lié d’amitié, à hanter des maisons et ainsi facturer de fausses interventions paranormales aux propriétaires crédules.

Franck rencontre alors le Docteur Lucy Lynskey, alors mariée à Ray, dans leur foyer. Lors d’une fausse séance dont Franck est à l’origine, ce dernier découvre que Ray, pestant contre l’arnaque dont il refuse d’être la victime, a un numéro lumineux inscrit sur le front : il décèdera lui aussi mystérieusement dans son lit.

A la suite d’une dispute impliquant une journaliste de la ville qui s’est mise en tête de trainer publiquement Franck Bannister dans la boue, ce dernier découvre qui est responsable des morts inexpliquées : Une entité dont l’apparence ressemble à la Mort elle-même, vêtue de sa grande robe noire, fauche à la main…

Rezumat:

În 1990, micul oraș Fairwater, California, a cunoscut un val de crime nerezolvate. Victimele sunt găsite intacte, cu singurul stigmat un număr înscris de un obiect ascuțit pe frunte. Înmormântările sunt în creștere, lăsând populația îngrijorată și poliția neputincioasă.

Frank Bannister, un psihic cu o reputație infamă, face tot posibilul să găsească clienți pentru a finaliza casa pe care a contractat să o construiască împreună cu soția sa, care a murit într-un accident de mașină cu câțiva ani mai devreme.

De la acest accident, Franck a dobândit capacitatea de a vedea fantome. El folosește această abilitate prin păcălirea a două fantome cu care s-a împrietenit în case bântuitoare și, astfel, facturând proprietarii creduli pentru intervenții paranormale false.

The Frighteners

The Frighteners is an American-New Zealand film directed by Peter Jackson, released in 1996.

Synopsis:

In 1990, the small town of Fairwater, California experienced a wave of unsolved murders. The victims are found intact, with the only stigma a number inscribed by a sharp object on the forehead. Burials are increasing, leaving the population worried and the police powerless.

Frank Bannister, a medium with a sad reputation, tries as best he can to find clients to finish the house he has undertaken to build with his wife, who died in a strange car accident a few years earlier.

Since this accident, Franck has acquired the ability to see ghosts. He uses this ability by tricking two ghosts he has befriended into haunting houses and thus billing gullible owners for fake paranormal interventions.

Franck then meets Doctor Lucy Lynskey, then married to Ray, in their home. During a false session which Franck is at the origin, the latter discovers that Ray, cursing against the scam of which he refuses to be the victim, has a luminous number inscribed on his forehead: he will also die mysteriously in his bed.

Following an argument involving a city journalist who decides to publicly drag Franck Bannister through the mud, the latter discovers who is responsible for the unexplained deaths: an entity whose appearance resembles Death himself dressed in his great black dress…

Loin d’être dépressif ni suicidaire bien au contraire car j’aime la vie; ce monde par contre me fait peur. Pas par ce qui s’y passe mais par la passivité de ce troupeau de 7 milliards d’individus, ces moutons dociles qui paissent paisiblement sur le chemin qui les mènent à l’abattoir.

Si j’avais besoin de réconfort et de chaleur, c’est de moins en moins vers les humains que je me tournerais.

Departe de a fi depresiv sau sinucigaș, dimpotrivă, pentru că iubesc viața; lumea asta, pe de altă parte, mă sperie. Nu prin ceea ce se întâmplă acolo ci prin pasivitatea acestei turme de 7 miliarde de indivizi, aceste oi pasive și docile care pasc liniștite în drumul spre abator.

Dacă aș avea nevoie de sprijin moral și căldură, m-aș îndrepta din ce în ce mai puțin către rasa umană.

Far from being depressive nor suicidal quite the contrary because i love life; this world, on the other hand, scares me. Not by what happens there but by the passivity of this herd of 7 billion individuals, these passive and docile sheep that graze peacefully on the way to the slaughterhouse.

If I needed moral support and warmth, I would turn less and less to humans.
