Le groupe était représenté sur scène par Topo le petit robot et la chanteuse (Simona Zanini) qui l’accompagnait. La musique était interprétée et composée par le duo : Aldo Martinelli et Fabrizio Gatto, faisant partie de la vague Italo Disco.
L’instrumental de ce titre fut repris comme générique par l’émission de canal + « Direct » qui était présentée par le très populaire Philippe Gildas.

Grupul a fost reprezentat pe scena de Topo micul robot si cantareata (Simona Zanini) care l-a insotit. Muzica a fost interpretată și compusă de duo-ul: Aldo Martinelli și Fabrizio Gatto, parte a valului Italo Disco.
Instrumentalul acestui titlu a fost preluat ca credit de difuzarea canalului privat de televiziune „canal +” (Direct) care a fost prezentat de foarte popularul Philippe Gildas.

« The Captain of Her Heart » est une chanson du duo suisse Double (Felix Haug et Kurt Maloo) extraite de leur premier album studio, Blue (1985). La chanson est une ballade sur une femme qui arrête d’attendre le retour de son amant absent. Le single a été un succès international, atteignant la 8e place du UK Singles Chart et la 16e place du Billboard Hot 100, faisant ainsi de Double le premier groupe suisse à atteindre le top 40 de ce dernier classement.

C’était en 2014, la Suisse jouait son Va-tout à l’Eurosong avec ce groupe un tantinet déjanté Sebalter dont le titre “Hunter of stars” (Chasseur d’étoiles) mettait en jeu les couleurs de la Suisse.

« The Captain of Her Heart » is a song by the Swiss duo Double (Felix Haug and Kurt Maloo) from their debut studio album, Blue (1985). « Certains doivent se demander quelle est la raison qui me pousse à mettre si souvent la Roumanie en avant dans mes articles. Bien qu’étant Suisse de nationalité, mes racines et une partie de mon arbre généalogique se trouvent en Roumanie de plus, beaucoup de mes meilleurs amis vivent dans ce magnifique pays. »
La star du film, Ovidiu Balan, avait 11 ans lorsque le film a été tourné. C’est un Tsigane roumain qui a été pris sous l’aile du réalisateur avec l’aide du gouvernement français. Gatlif a créé le film comme une œuvre sur les thèmes de la gitane «agitée et libre», contrairement à la notion de peuplement proposée pour les populations sinti et rom. dans l’UE. Contrairement à des films similaires sur les enfants des rues, tels que Salaam Bombay ou Pixote, ce film était conçu comme un conte de fées d’une sorte d’esprit mythique qui touche la vie des parias dans une société remplie de préjugés contre les gitans.

« Mondo », the wandering boy, played by the young Romanian boy Ovidiu Balan

« Some must wonder what drives me to put Romania so often in my articles. Although i am Swiss by nationality, my roots and part of my family tree are also in Romania, many of my best friends live in this beautiful country. »
The film’s star, Ovidiu Balan, was 11 when the film was shot. He is a Romanian Gypsy who was taken under the director’s wing with help of the French government Gatlif created the film as a work on the themes of the « restless and free » gypsy, in contrast to the notion of settlements proposed for Sinti and Roma populations in the EU. Unlike similar films about street children, such as Salaam Bombay or Pixote, this film was intended as a fairy tale of sorts of a mythical spirit who touches the lives of outcast people in a society filled with prejudice against the gypsies.
