Le jour ou la terre s’arrêtera c’est sur ton épaule que je viendrai me reposer.
Rares Mihai Florescu est un jeune violoniste Roumain (Bucarest) de 20 ans. C’est à l’âge de 10 ans qu’il remporte la finale du concours télévisé: « Ces Roumains qui ont du talent. » Mais à 8 ans déjà, ce jeune virtuose était bien connu dans son pays. Depuis sa victoire télévisée, Rares Mihai Florescu a su se faire apprécier bien au delà des frontières Roumaines. Récital après récital, concert après concert il est demandé dans toute l’Europe. Ce jeune garçon est depuis de longues années devenu mon ami et même si nous ne sommes pas toujours d’accord cette amitié partagée est un don du ciel.

În ziua în care pământul se va opri, îmi voi odihni durerea pe inima ta.
Rare Mihai Florescu este un tânăr violonist român de 20 de ani (din București). La 10 ani a câștigat finala concursului de televiziune: „Românii ăștia care au talent”. Dar deja la vârsta de 8 ani, acest tânăr virtuoz era binecunoscut în țara sa. De la victoria sa televizată, Rares Mihai Florescu a devenit apreciat cu mult dincolo de granițele României. Recital după recital, concert după concert, este căutat în toată Europa. Acest băiat a devenit prietenul meu de mulți ani și chiar dacă nu suntem întotdeauna de acord, această prietenie împărtășită este un dar din ceruri.

Rares Mihai Florescu is a young Romanian (Bucharest) violinist of 20 years old. It was at the age of 10 that he won the final of the television competition: “These Romanians who have talent.” But already at 8 years old, this young virtuoso was well known in his country. Since his televised victory, Rares Mihai Florescu has made himself appreciated well beyond the Romanian borders. Recital after recital, concert after concert, he is in demand throughout Europe. This young boy has become my friend for many years and even if we do not always agree, this shared friendship is a gift from heaven.
