C’était l’époque des radios libres, on émettait sur une fréquence quasi pirate sous l’emblème KT – FM, c’était à Genève et dans les environs.
Tu venais de sortir l’album : « Eyes of the Universe » et il commençait tout juste à cartonner. Tu te souviens ? Rue de Fribourg ? Une belle histoire…
À l’époque, Richard, était un animateur phare de cette radio et après son émission de la nuit, il venait régulièrement squatter mon canapé pendant que moi j’allais bosser.
Un soir, je me souviens, il c’est rappliqué avec toi et nous avons bu pas mal de bière ensemble. Nous avons écouté ce morceau en boucle : « Play to the world ». Tu ne me l’as pas dédié directement mais ce soir-là, tu me l’a consacré. Pour moi, cela aura été un des plus beaux moments de ma vie.
On c’est pas mal côtoyé à une époque un peu glauque certes mais c’était cool quand-même.

Era vremea radiourilor libere, difuzam pe o frecvență aproape piratată sub emblema KT – FM, era la Geneva și în împrejurimi.
Albumul tău „Eyes of the Universe” tocmai ieșise din presă și tocmai începea să fie un hit. Vă amintiți ? Rue de Fribourg? O poveste frumoasa…
La acea vreme, Richard era un prezentator cheie la acest radio și după emisiunea lui de noapte, venea în mod regulat să se ghemuiască pe canapea mea în timp ce eu mergeam la muncă.
Într-o seară, îmi amintesc, s-a întors cu tine și am băut multă bere împreună. Am ascultat acest cântec la repetare: „Play to the world”. Nu mi l-ai dedicat direct, dar în acea seară mi l-ai dedicat. Pentru mine a fost unul dintre cele mai frumoase momente din viața mea.
Tu și cu mine am petrecut mult timp împreună în această perioadă specială din viața mea dar mi-a plăcut foarte mult.
Vremuri frumoase împărtășite împreună și vă mulțumesc.

The world is yours
It was the time of free radios, we broadcast on an almost pirate frequency under the KT – FM emblem, it was in Geneva and the surrounding area.
You had just released the album: “Eyes of the Universe” and it was just starting to be a hit. Do you remember ? Rue de Fribourg? A nice story…
One evening, I remember, he came back with you and we drank a lot of beer together. We listened to this song on repeat: “Play to the world”. You didn’t dedicate it to me directly, but that evening, you dedicated it to me. For me, it was one of the most beautiful moments of my life.
We saw each other every day and we never left each other It was a little strange but there was magic.
Great good times shared together and thank you.
