Goblin (également Back to the Goblin, New Goblin, Goblin Rebirth, the Goblin Keys, the Goblins and Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin) est un groupe de rock progressif italien connu pour ses musiques de films. Ils collaborent fréquemment avec Dario Argento, créant notamment les partitions de Profondo Rosso en 1975 et de Suspiria en 1977.
Parce que leur collaborateur Dario Argento est spécialisé dans la création de films de genre horreur, suspense et slasher/giallo, les partitions faites par Goblin dans ces films avaient souvent des caractéristiques étranges. et des tons menaçants. Les rééditions de CD de leurs partitions ont bien fonctionné, en particulier en Allemagne et au Japon. Goblin revient avec une série de concerts live en Europe en 2009 et en Amérique du Nord en 2013.

They frequently collaborate with Dario Argento, most notably creating the scores for Profondo Rosso in 1975 and Suspiria in 1977.
Because their collaborator Dario Argento specializes in creating horror, suspense and slasher/giallo genre movies, scores made by Goblin in these movies often had eerie and ominous tones. CD re-releases of their scores have performed well, especially in Germany and Japan. Goblin returned with a series of live concerts in Europe in 2009 and in North America in 2013.

Pour illustrer ce billet, deux très belles chansons qui portent le même titre et dans un premier temps, la chanson de Jenifer Rush qui fut écrite et composée par Gunther Mende, Candy DeRouge, Jennifer Rush et Mary Susan Applegate en 1984. la chanson connaît de nouveau un succès à l’échelle mondiale en 1993 grâce à la version de Céline Dion. Personnellement, je préfère la version originale dont l’orchestration est beaucoup plus harmonieuse.
Ensuite, la chanson du groupe Frankie Goes to hollywood qui est le troisième single du groupe britannique. Sortie le en single, la chanson provient de l’album Welcome to the Pleasuredome. Avec cette chanson, Frankie Goes to Hollywood obtient un 3ème numéro 1 consécutif dans les charts britanniques. C’est de nouveau un gros succès dans plusieurs pays d’Europe et en Océanie.

To illustrate this post, two very beautiful songs which bear the same title and firstly, the song by Jenifer Rush which was written and composed by Gunther Mende, Candy DeRouge, Jennifer Rush and Mary Susan Applegate in 1984. the song obtains a new success on a global scale in 1993 thanks to the version by Céline Dion. Personally, I prefer the original version whose orchestration is much more harmonious.
Then, the group’s song Frankie Goes to Hollywood which is the third single from the British group. Released on November 19, 1984 as a single, the song is from the album Welcome to the Pleasuredome. With this song, Frankie Goes to Hollywood reached a 3rd consecutive number 1 in the British charts. It is once again a great success in several countries in Europe and Oceania.

Chris McNeill, a television actress, is concerned about hearing strange noises more and more frequently in her daughter, Regan’s, bedroom. She complains of having difficulty sleeping because of the spasmodic movements that shake her bed. At first incredulous, Chris soon verifies his daughter’s statements. This gradually transforms into a real monster.
« Shooting Stars » est une chanson du duo électronique australien Bag Raiders. La chanson a été initialement présentée sur l’EP du groupe, Turbo Love, en 2008. « Shooting Stars » is a song by Australian electronic duo Bag Raiders. The song was originally featured on the band’s EP, Turbo Love, in 2008. The year afterwards, the song was released as a single from their eponymous debut album Bag Raiders, and reached number 18 in the Triple J Hottest 100 countdown of 2009. Although the song was released and charted in Australia in 2009, the song did not reach its peak there until 2013. It received international attention in February 2017 when the song became a part of a popular internet meme, thus cementing the track’s legacy as a sleeper hit. The song reached number 11 on Billboard‘s Dance/Electronic Songs chart and number 9 on the Billboard Bubbling Under chart that year. The vocals on the song are performed by Rhys Taylor.

Planète interdite (Forbidden Planet) est un film de science-fiction américain réalisé par Fred McLeod Wilcox et sorti sur les écrans en 1956.
En 2013, le film est sélectionné par le National Film Registry de la Bibliothèque du Congrès américain pour y être conservé, comme étant « culturellement, historiquement ou esthétiquement important »
Synopsis:
Un prologue explique quand et comment la conquête de l’espace a été rendue possible depuis la Terre, grâce à l’invention d’engins capables de se déplacer à la vitesse de la lumière. Désormais, les humains vivent sous le régime des Planètes unies.
En 2257, le croiseur spatial C-57D, avec à sa tête le commandant John Adams, est en route vers la planète Altaïr IV pour secourir le Bellérophon, vaisseau d’exploration dont l’équipage n’a plus donné signe de vie depuis dix-neuf ans. Au moment de l’approche, le professeur Edward Morbius, ancien membre de cette expédition perdue, contacte soudain le croiseur et déclare qu’il n’a besoin d’aucun secours. Il met en garde le commandant et prévient qu’il ne pourra pas garantir la sécurité de ses hommes. Adams décide néanmoins de se poser sur Altaïr IV.
Sur place, Adams, le lieutenant Jerry Farman et le lieutenant « Doc » Ostrow sont accueillis par Robby le robot, qui, dans un véhicule, les conduit à une villa où Morbius leur apprend qu’une mystérieuse et gigantesque force a jadis tué tous les passagers du Bellérophon et détruit le vaisseau. Il fut l’un des trois seuls survivants, avec sa femme (décédée entre-temps de mort naturelle) et leur fille Altaïra. Il prévient les trois officiers que ceux-ci risquent leurs vies en restant ici. Altaïra, qui n’a jamais connu que son père, se montre très intriguée par les officiers : Adams et Farman tombent sous le charme de la jeune fille, un triangle amoureux se met en place. Adams décide de contacter la Terre.

Synopsis:
A prologue explains when and how the conquest of space was made possible from Earth, thanks to the invention of machines capable of moving at the speed of light. From now on, humans live under the regime of the United Planets.
In 2257, the space cruiser C-57D, with Commander John Adams at its head, is en route to the planet Altaïr IV to rescue the Bellerophon, an exploration vessel whose crew has not given any sign of life for ten -nine years. As they approach, Professor Edward Morbius, a former member of this lost expedition, suddenly contacts the cruiser and declares that he does not need any help. He warns the commander and warns that he will not be able to guarantee the safety of his men. Adams nevertheless decides to land on Altaïr IV.
