Celle-ci se plaint d’avoir des difficultés à dormir à cause des mouvements spasmodiques qui ébranlent son lit. D’abord incrédule, Chris vérifie bientôt les dires de sa fille. Celle-ci se transforme peu à peu en un véritable monstre.

Chris McNeill, a television actress, is concerned about hearing strange noises more and more frequently in her daughter, Regan’s, bedroom. She complains of having difficulty sleeping because of the spasmodic movements that shake her bed. At first incredulous, Chris soon verifies his daughter’s statements. This gradually transforms into a real monster.
« Shooting Stars » est une chanson du duo électronique australien Bag Raiders. La chanson a été initialement présentée sur l’EP du groupe, Turbo Love, en 2008. L’année suivante, la chanson est sortie en tant que single de leur premier album éponyme Bag Raiders, et a atteint le numéro 18 dans le compte à rebours Triple J Hottest 100 de 2009. « Shooting Stars » is a song by Australian electronic duo Bag Raiders. The song was originally featured on the band’s EP, Turbo Love, in 2008. The year afterwards, the song was released as a single from their eponymous debut album Bag Raiders, and reached number 18 in the Triple J Hottest 100 countdown of 2009. Although the song was released and charted in Australia in 2009, the song did not reach its peak there until 2013. It received international attention in February 2017 when the song became a part of a popular internet meme, thus cementing the track’s legacy as a sleeper hit. The song reached number 11 on Billboard‘s Dance/Electronic Songs chart and number 9 on the Billboard Bubbling Under chart that year. The vocals on the song are performed by Rhys Taylor.

Planète interdite (Forbidden Planet) est un film de science-fiction américain réalisé par Fred McLeod Wilcox et sorti sur les écrans en 1956.
En 2013, le film est sélectionné par le National Film Registry de la Bibliothèque du Congrès américain pour y être conservé, comme étant « culturellement, historiquement ou esthétiquement important »
Synopsis:
Un prologue explique quand et comment la conquête de l’espace a été rendue possible depuis la Terre, grâce à l’invention d’engins capables de se déplacer à la vitesse de la lumière. Désormais, les humains vivent sous le régime des Planètes unies.
En 2257, le croiseur spatial C-57D, avec à sa tête le commandant John Adams, est en route vers la planète Altaïr IV pour secourir le Bellérophon, vaisseau d’exploration dont l’équipage n’a plus donné signe de vie depuis dix-neuf ans. Au moment de l’approche, le professeur Edward Morbius, ancien membre de cette expédition perdue, contacte soudain le croiseur et déclare qu’il n’a besoin d’aucun secours. Il met en garde le commandant et prévient qu’il ne pourra pas garantir la sécurité de ses hommes. Adams décide néanmoins de se poser sur Altaïr IV.
Sur place, Adams, le lieutenant Jerry Farman et le lieutenant « Doc » Ostrow sont accueillis par Robby le robot, qui, dans un véhicule, les conduit à une villa où Morbius leur apprend qu’une mystérieuse et gigantesque force a jadis tué tous les passagers du Bellérophon et détruit le vaisseau. Il fut l’un des trois seuls survivants, avec sa femme (décédée entre-temps de mort naturelle) et leur fille Altaïra. Il prévient les trois officiers que ceux-ci risquent leurs vies en restant ici. Altaïra, qui n’a jamais connu que son père, se montre très intriguée par les officiers : Adams et Farman tombent sous le charme de la jeune fille, un triangle amoureux se met en place. Adams décide de contacter la Terre.

Forbidden Planetis an American science fiction film directed by Fred McLeod Wilcox and released in 1956.

Synopsis:
A prologue explains when and how the conquest of space was made possible from Earth, thanks to the invention of machines capable of moving at the speed of light. From now on, humans live under the regime of the United Planets.
In 2257, the space cruiser C-57D, with Commander John Adams at its head, is en route to the planet Altaïr IV to rescue the Bellerophon, an exploration vessel whose crew has not given any sign of life for ten -nine years. As they approach, Professor Edward Morbius, a former member of this lost expedition, suddenly contacts the cruiser and declares that he does not need any help. He warns the commander and warns that he will not be able to guarantee the safety of his men. Adams nevertheless decides to land on Altaïr IV.
There, Adams, Lieutenant Jerry Farman and Lieutenant « Doc » Ostrow are greeted by Robby the robot, who, in a vehicle, takes them to a villa where Morbius tells them that a mysterious and gigantic force once killed all passengers of the Bellerophon and destroyed the vessel. He was one of only three survivors, with his wife (who had since died of natural causes) and their daughter Altaïra. He warns the three officers that they are risking their lives by staying here. Altaïra, who has only ever known her father, is very intrigued by the officers: Adams and Farman fall under the young girl’s spell, a love triangle begins. Adams decides to contact Earth.

L’origine réelle de cette fête est attestée au xive siècle dans la Grande-Bretagne encore catholique où le jour de la Saint-Valentin du était fêté comme une fête des amoureux car l’on pensait que les oiseaux choisissaient ce jour pour s’apparier. Restée vivace dans le monde anglo-saxon, comme Halloween, cette fête s’est ensuite répandue à travers le continent européen.
La Saint-Valentin, généralement fêtée le , est considérée dans de nombreux pays comme la fête des amoureux. Les couples en profitent pour s’échanger des mots doux et des cadeaux comme des roses rouges (emblèmes de la passion) ainsi que des cartes, du chocolat, etc.
La vrai Saint-Valentin a été torturée et décapitée en l’an 273. Le 14 février, on célèbre dont la mort d’un martyr. J’espère que j’ai remonté le moral des célibataires en mal d’amour grâce à ces précisions historiques.

The true origin of this holiday is attested in the 14th century in still Catholic England where Valentine’s Day on February 14 was celebrated as a feast for lovers because it was thought that birds chose this day to mate. Remained alive in the Anglo-Saxon world, like Halloween, this festival then spread throughout the European continent.

The Ritchie Family est un groupe vocal américain basé à Philadelphie qui a connu plusieurs succès à l’époque du disco. Ils continuent de se produire. Leur dernier single « Whatcha Got » est sorti en 2021.
Les trois membres d’origine n’étaient pas apparentés ; le groupe était une création de Jacques Morali, qui avait également formé le groupe Village People. Le groupe a pris son nom du producteur de disques Richie Rome ; il était à l’origine composé de trois chanteuses : Cassandra Ann Wooten et Gwendolyn Oliver (qui a fini par épouser le musicien Fred Wesley) du groupe de filles Honey & the Bees, et Cheryl Mason Jacks.
Leur manager était Jimmy Bishop, une personnalité de la radio à succès de Philadelphie qui a également géré Barbara Mason. The Richie Family
The Ritchie Family are an American vocal group based in Philadelphia that achieved several hits during the disco era. They have reunited and continue to perform. Their latest single « Whatcha Got » was released in 2021.
The three original members were not related; the group was a creation of Jacques Morali who also formed the Village People. The group took its name from record producer Richie Rome, who added a T to the name; it originally consisted of three singers: Cassandra Ann Wooten and Gwendolyn Oliver (who eventually married musician Fred Wesley) of the girl group Honey & the Bees, and Cheryl Mason Jacks. Their manager was Jimmy Bishop, a successful Philadelphia radio personality who also managed Barbara Mason. Morali remembered Wooten and Oliver had done some session work for him, and he called them a few years later when he wanted to form a group and the Ritchie Family was born.
Following Brazil, they had success with the Arabian Nights album. Their follow up albums Life Is Music, which followed a 1930s theme, and African Queens were only mediocre successes. Each of these four albums was a concept album featuring songs of a similar theme as suggested by each album title. Each album also featured a long medley, usually running from 15 to 20 minutes.

Il est temps pour moi de repartir.
Oui, je suis un ange et ceux qui me rejettent le font uniquement parce qu’ils ont peur d’affronter leur propre vérité.
