Karolina Protsenko, jeune Ukrainienne, installée avec ses parents en Californie, se produit dans la rue. À raison d’une ou deux mises en ligne par semaine, depuis 2 ans, ses vidéos tournées en direct dans les rues de Santa Monica sont visionnées par des millions de personnes. 

Les vidéos de Karolina Protsenko ont été vues plus de 500 millions de fois.

Près de 3 millions d’abonnés à la principale de ses 3 chaines YouTube, 3,2 millions qui la suivent sur son compte Facebook depuis 50 pays, 540 000 fans sur Instagram… des chiffres dignes de grandes vedettes internationales pour la jeune Karolina Protsenko, 12 ans seulement. Ses vidéos, dans lesquelles elle reprend au violon des grands standards de la chanson (covers) dans la rue, au milieu des passants de Santa Monica qui nourrissent sa cagnotte, ont été vues plus de 500 millions de fois.

Boney M. est un groupe vocal créé par le producteur de disques allemand Frank Farian. Basés à l’origine en Allemagne de l’Ouest, les quatre membres originaux de la formation officielle du groupe étaient les chanteurs britanniques d’origine jamaïcaine Liz Mitchell et Marcia Barrett, Maizie Williams de Montserrat et Bobby Farrell d’Aruba. Le groupe a été formé en 1975 et a gagné en popularité pendant l’ère disco de la fin des années 1970. Le groupe a vendu plus de 150 millions d’albums et de singles dans le monde avec la plupart des ventes au Royaume-Uni et en Allemagne.

« When We Were Young » est un single de 1983 du groupe pop britannique Bucks Fizz. Le morceau présente les voix principales du membre du groupe Jay Aston. La chanson est devenue leur sixième top 10 au Royaume-Uni et c’est l’un de leurs plus grands succès en Europe

La chanson a été écrite par Warren Harry (sous le nom de Warren Bacall) et a été produite par Brian Tench et Andy Hill – la première fois que Hill n’avait pas produit uniquement l’un des singles du groupe. Les paroles de la chanson parlent d’une femme âgée, qui se lamente d’avoir perdu sa jeunesse et son apparence.

« When We Were Young » is a 1983 single by UK pop group Bucks Fizz. The track features lead vocals by band member Jay Aston. The song became their sixth top-ten-hit in the UK and it is one of their biggest hits in Europe.

Shoot Your Shot est une chanson de la drag queen américaine Divine. Sortie en single en 1982, elle a atteint la 4e place en Flandre (la Belgique néerlandophone), la 7e place aux Pays-Bas, la 8e place en Suisse, la 9e place en Autriche et la 15e place en Allemagne.

Cette chanson est aussi incluse sur le premier album de Divine, sorti en 1982 et intitule My First Album

Un gars qui joue d’un instrument extrêmement rare … et je ne peux pas m’arrêter de l’écouter.

A guy who plays extremely rare instrument… and i can’t stop to listening him.

Une histoire d’Amour :

Mark (Austin, Texas) et Steffi (Ulm, Allemagne) se sont rencontrés dans une petite ville de la côte est de l’Australie appelée Coffs Harbour, en novembre 2016. Immédiatement, ils ont vu un lien entre eux et ont commencé à voyager ensemble. Après 6 mois, Mark a décidé de partager sa passion avec Steffi et a commencé à lui apprendre le Chapman Stick. Elle a vite compris et a fait des heures de pratique chaque jour. Après avoir joué dans plusieurs pays, ils ont commencé à travailler ensemble sur un nouveau projet, une compilation avec des morceaux celtiques originaux de Mark.

Maintenant, 2 ans plus tard, leur premier album ensemble «New Beginning» est enfin terminé. Mark et Steffi continuent de voyager à travers le monde et de partager leur musique avec différentes cultures.

A Love story :

Mark (Austin, Texas) and Steffi (Ulm, Germany) met in a small town on the east coast of Australia called Coffs Harbour, in November 2016. Immediately they saw a connection between the two of them and began traveling together. After 6 months, Mark decided to share his passion with Steffi and started to teach her the Chapman Stick. She caught on quickly and put in hours of practice every day. After performing in several countries, they started working on a new project together, a compilation with original Celtic peaces by Mark.

Now, 2 years later their first album together “New Beginning” is finally finished. Mark and Steffi continue to travel around the world and share their music with different cultures.
