Nothing Else Matters est une chanson du groupe de heavy metal Metallica, figurant sur l’album Metallica (plus souvent nommé Black Album en raison de sa pochette entièrement noire à l’exception d’un serpent gris) sorti en 1991. Elle demeure une des plus connues du groupe.
Cette ballade diffère des compositions habituelles du groupe. Elle commence par une longue introduction jouée à la guitare acoustique. Ses paroles évoquent sur un ton mélancolique l’indépendance et ce qui est le plus important dans la vie. Cette chanson a participé au succès commercial du groupe en lui ouvrant les portes d’une diffusion plus grand public : elle fut ainsi classée à la 34e place au Billboard Hot 100 le . Elle a été reprise par de nombreux groupes hors de l’univers heavy metal. Nothing Else Matters est parfois considérée par certains détracteurs comme le symbole du virage qu’aurait pris le groupe Metallica par rapport à la musique des albums précédents, plus rude, plus thrash et moins commerciale.

This ballad differs from the band’s usual compositions. It begins with a long introduction played on the acoustic guitar. His lyrics speak in a melancholic tone about independence and what’s most important in life. This song contributed to the group’s commercial success by opening the doors to a wider audience: it was thus ranked at number 34 on the Billboard Hot 100 in May 1992. It has been covered by many groups outside the heavy metal universe. Nothing Else Matters is sometimes seen by some detractors as a symbol of Metallica’s shift away from the rougher, more thrashy and less commercial music of previous albums.

Michael Gordon Oldfield, known as Mike Oldfield, born 15 May 1953 in Reading (Berkshire), is a British multi-instrumentalist musician and songwriter.
He is best known for his first studio album « Tubular Bells » (1973), from which the soundtrack of the film « The Exorcist » is taken, which you can see in this article in French or original version. A long and beautiful career that I suggest you follow in music.

Il a remporté l’AMEB Gold Award en Australie en 2024.
Lorsque Shumo, originaire du Queensland (Australie), a aperçu pour la première fois une affiche du programme AMEB Award dans le département de musique de son école, il venait de terminer son examen de guitare électrique de niveau 7 de Rockschool et composait déjà des morceaux originaux, se produisait régulièrement et se forgeait un profil de jeune artiste.
Mais le prix AMEB d’or offrait une perspective différente : celle de donner une nouvelle dimension à sa passion et de l’inscrire dans une vision plus large du leadership, de la créativité et de la contribution. « Ce prix [AMEB] me semblait idéal pour donner un nouvel élan à ce que je faisais déjà et le reconnaître officiellement », a déclaré Shumo, lauréat du prix AMEB d’or.
Déjà artiste certifié sur Spotify, Apple Music et YouTube, Shumo abordait la remise du prix avec confiance. Mais même lui ne s’attendait pas à ce que ce parcours soit aussi intense..

Découvert récemment, je vous présente Jake Collisson avec le titre ‘Staring At Stars.’ C’est à 7 ans, durant le confinement que ce jeune garçon c’est mis à apprendre la guitare sous l’œil bienveillant de son père. Depuis, il progresse irrésistiblement. Il interprète et maitrise tellement bien les notes que sur les réseaux sociaux, certains disent que ce n’est pas lui qui joue. Bien que cela soit gratifiant pour jake, il assure à 100% qu’aucune IA n’est utilisée lors de ses performances.

Recently discovered, i introduce to you Jake Collisson with the track « Staring At Stars. » It was at the age of 7, during lockdown, that this young boy began learning the guitar under the watchful eye of his father. Since then, his progress has been irresistible. He interprets and masters the notes so well that on social media, some say that it is not him playing. While this is gratifying for Jake, he assures 100% that no AI is used during his performances.
