Une puissance, une tendresse mais aussi une violence que des images osées pour l’époque relatent dans une histoire d’amour qui serait banale aujourd’hui. Chapeau bas à ce réalisateur visionnaire.

The Chronicles of Riddick est un film d’action de science-fiction américain de 2004 écrit et réalisé par David Twohy. Il suit les aventures de Richard B. Riddick alors qu’il tente d’échapper à la capture après les événements décrits dans le film de 2000 Pitch Black. Vin Diesel reprend son rôle de Riddick et agit en tant que producteur. C’est le premier et jusqu’à présent le seul film de la franchise à avoir reçu une note PG-13. Le film a reçu des critiques négatives et a été un flop au box-office.

Synopsis :

Après s’être caché des chasseurs de primes et des mercenaires pendant cinq ans, Riddick retrouve ses vieux amis Imam et Jack. Mais quand il est pris dans un conflit avec une armée galactique maléfique connue sous le nom de Necromongers, Riddick est contraint au combat alors qu’il tente d’empêcher les Necromongers de détruire la planète Helion Prime et de sauver l’humanité et l’univers de l’anéantissement.
