Philip Oakey (né le 2 octobre 1955) est un musicien anglais qui est le chanteur, auteur-compositeur et co-fondateur du groupe de synth-pop The Human League. Outre la Human League, il a mené une longue carrière musicale solo et a collaboré avec de nombreux autres artistes et producteurs.
Oakey était l’un des artistes musicaux les plus visuellement distinctifs du début des années 1980. Au plus fort de leur succès, Human League a sorti l’album studio Dare (1981), certifié triple platine, et Oakey a co-écrit et chanté le single « Don’t You Want Me », vendu à plusieurs millions d’exemplaires, un single n°1 dans les deux catégories. Schicke Führs Fröhling du groupe SFF était un trio de rock progressif allemand.
Eduard Schicke (14 février 1947), Gerd Führs (27 novembre 1955 – 3 novembre 1992) et Heinz Fröhling (7 mai 1951) se sont rencontrés pour la première fois en 1974.
L’étincelle entre les trois jaillit immédiatement et peu de temps après, ils répétaient dans une ferme qui avait été transformée en studio. Après une première apparition réussie au Circus Krone de Munich sous la direction de Dieter Dierks, ils enregistraient leur premier LP « Symphonic Photos » en 1976 , qui se vendit à plus de 12’000 exemplaires. L’album suivant « Sunburst » qui sorti en 1977 fut également très apprécié par les fans et les critiques tout comme les concerts.
Après le troisième LP plutôt décevant « Ticket to Everywhere » en (1978), Eduard Schicke quitte le groupe en raison de divergences musicales. Il rejoint plus tard Hoelderlin. Führs et Fröhling se concentrent alors davantage sur leur projet parallèle Führs & Fröhling, dont le premier album « Ammerland » sortit début 1978.
En 2011, sous le nom de Fröhling & Schicke, Heinz Fröhling et Eduard Schicke sortent l’album « Metamorphosen » avec de nouveaux titres de Heinz Fröhling sur des paroles de l’écrivain Klaus Modick.
Cette musique a 40 ans et elle n’a pris aucune ride.

După o primă apariție de succes la Circus Krone din München sub conducerea lui Dieter Dierks, au înregistrat primul lor LP „Symphonic Photos” în 1976, care s-a vândut în peste 12.000 de exemplare. Albumul următor „Sunburst”, lansat în 1977, a fost, de asemenea, foarte lăudat de fani și critici, precum și de concerte.
După cel de-al treilea LP Ticket to Everywhere (1978), destul de dezamăgitor, Eduard Schicke a părăsit trupa din cauza diferențelor muzicale. Apoi s-a alăturat lui Holderlin. Führs și Fröhling s-au concentrat apoi mai mult pe proiectul lor paralel Führs & Fröhling, al cărui prim album Ammerland a fost lansat la începutul anului 1978.

Schicke Führs Fröhling of the band SFF was a German progressive rock trio.
Eduard Schicke (February 14, 1947), Gerd Führs (November 27, 1955 – November 3, 1992) and Heinz Fröhling (May 7, 1951) first met in 1974.
The spark between the three jumped immediately, and soon after they were rehearsing at a farmhouse that had been turned into a studio and, after a successful debut appearance at Munich’s Circus Krone under Dieter Dierks, were recording the first LP Symphonic Photos in 1976, which span 12,000 sold. The follow-up album Sunburst (1977) was also highly praised by fans and critics, as were the SFF concerts.
After the rather disappointing third LP « Ticket to Everywhere » in (1978), Eduard Schicke left the band due to musical differences. He later joined Holderlin. Führs and Fröhling then concentrated more on their side project Führs & Fröhling, whose debut album « Ammerland » was released in early 1978.
In 2011, under the name Fröhling & Schicke, Heinz Fröhling and Eduard Schicke released the album « Metamorphosen » with new tracks by Heinz Fröhling to lyrics by writer Klaus Modick.
