Scorpions est un groupe de heavy metal allemand formé en 1965 à Hanovre par Rudolf Schenker. Depuis la création du groupe, son style musical a varié du hard rock, du heavy metal et du glam metal. La formation de 1979 à 1992 était l’incarnation la plus réussie du groupe et comprenait Klaus Meine (chant), Rudolf Schenker (guitare rythmique), Matthias Jabs (guitare principale), Francis Buchholz (basse) et Herman Rarebell (batterie). Le seul membre continu du groupe a été Schenker, bien que Meine soit apparue sur tous les albums studio de Scorpions, tandis que Jabs en est un membre constant depuis 1979, et le bassiste Paweł Mąciwoda et le batteur Mikkey Dee font partie du groupe depuis 2003 et 2016 respectivement.

Scorpions are a German heavy metal band formed in 1965 in Hanover by Rudolf Schenker. Since the band’s inception, its musical style has ranged from hard rock, heavy metal, and glam metal. The lineup from 1979 to 1992 was the most successful incarnation of the group, and included Klaus Meine (vocals), Rudolf Schenker (rhythm guitar), Matthias Jabs (lead guitar), Francis Buchholz (bass), and Herman Rarebell (drums). The band’s only continuous member has been Schenker, although Meine has appeared on all of Scorpions’ studio albums, while Jabs has been a consistent member since 1979, and bassist Paweł Mąciwoda and drummer Mikkey Dee have been in the band since 2003 and 2016 respectively.

Oblivion, est un film de science-fiction post-apocalyptique américain écrit, produit et réalisé par Joseph Kosinski, et sorti en 2013. Le scénario est inspiré du comics du même nom.

Synopsis:

En 2077, Jack Harper fait partie d’une opération d’extraction des dernières ressources de la terre. Sa mission touche à sa fin. Dans à peine deux semaines, il rejoindra le reste des survivants dans une colonie spatiale à des milliers de kilomètres de cette planète dévastée qu’il considère néanmoins comme son chez-lui.

Oblivion (Bande originale du film) est la bande originale du film de 2013 du même nom, avec la partition originale composée par Anthony Gonzalez du projet de musique électronique français M83 et Joseph Trapanese.  M83 a été crédité pour la bande originale. L’album contient de la musique électronique et orchestrale qui a été enregistrée spécifiquement pour le film pendant plus d’un an. Outre la partition, une chanson du film de six minutes est sortie en single le 2 avril 2013. La bande originale est sortie en formats numérique et physique le 16 avril éditée par Back Lot Music, avec une édition deluxe sortie le même jour. Elle est ensuite sortie en vinyle sous le label Mondo le 30 avril de la même année.

Oblivion (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is the soundtrack to the 2013 film of the same name featuring the original score composed by Anthony Gonzalez of the French electronic music project M83 and Joseph Trapanese. However, M83 was credited for the soundtrack. The album features electronic and orchestral music that was recorded specifically for the film for more than a year. Aside from the score, a six-minute title track was released as the single from the film on April 2, 2013. The soundtrack was released in digital and physical formats on April 16 by Back Lot Music, along with a deluxe edition released on the same day. It was released on vinyl by Mondo on April 30.

Je suis las de montrer la vérité à ces aveugles qui refusent de voir.

La lumière ne peut briller que dans un esprit éclairé.

« Si tu aspire à la lumière ne trouves pas refuge dans les ténèbres. »

On peut offrir la connaissance aux gens, mais on ne peut pas les obliger à réfléchir.
Certains préfèrent rester aveugles et ignorants, parce que la vérité exige un changement, donc une remise en cause de leurs croyances. L’acceptation de la vérité nécessite souvent du courage et une volonté d’affronter l’inconnu, ce que tout le monde n’est pas prêt à faire.
Ainsi, même avec l’accès à l’information, la véritable compréhension reste un choix personnel.

« If you yearn for the light, do not seek refuge in darkness. »

You can offer people knowledge, but you can’t force them to think. Some people prefer to remain blind and ignorant because the truth demands change, and therefore a rethinking of their beliefs. Accepting the truth often requires courage and a willingness to face the unknown, something not everyone is ready to do. Thus, even with access to information, true understanding remains a personal choice.

Such a Shame est une chanson du groupe Talk Talk, écrite par Mark Hollis et apparaissant sur leur album It’s My Life sorti en 1984. Initialement sortie en en promo, la chanson Such a Shame fut écrite par Mark Hollis et grandement inspirée par le roman culte de l’auteur américain Luke Rhinhart L’Homme-dé (The Dice Man), paru en 1971.

Sa face B, Again, a Game… Again a été composée par Mark Hollis et a été enregistrée peu de temps après le départ de Simon Brenner, à l’arrivée de Tim Friese-Greene aux claviers mais aussi comme nouveau producteur.

Le single est également réédité en 1990 pour promouvoir la sortie de la compilation Natural History: The Very Best of Talk Talk.

Such a Shame is a song by Talk Talk, written by Mark Hollis and featured on their 1984 album It’s My Life. Originally released in October 1983 as a promo, the song Such a Shame was written by Mark Hollis and greatly inspired by the cult novel by American author Luke Rhinhart L’Homme-dé (The Dice Man), published in 1971.

Its B-side, Again, a Game…Again was composed by Mark Hollis and was recorded shortly after Simon Brenner’s departure, when Tim Friese-Greene arrived on keyboards and as a new producer.

The single was also reissued in 1990 to promote the release of the compilation Natural History: The Very Best of Talk Talk.

Les rivières d’Asie, d’Amérique latine et d’Afrique sont de plus en plus polluées, menaçant directement la santé de plus de 300 millions de personnes et indirectement la production alimentaire dans de nombreux pays, met en garde un rapport de l’ONU.

La pollution organique est une menace pour la faune marine, une forte salinité diminue les rendements agricoles et les rejets de phosphate facilitent le développement de certaines plantes au détriment d’autres.

Heureusement, il n’est pas trop tard pour inverser la tendance, estime le Pnue.

« Il est possible de commencer à restaurer l’état des rivières qui ont été fortement polluées et il est encore largement possible d’éviter que plus de cours d’eau soient contaminés », avance Jacqueline McGlade.

Système de contrôle de la qualité des eaux, traitement des eaux usées, utilisation des zones humides comme filtres, etc. « Nous avons les outils pour s’attaquer à ce problème » et « il est temps de les utiliser pour combattre ce qui devient peu à peu une des plus grandes menaces pour la santé et le développement à travers le monde, » conclut la spécialiste.

Organic pollution is a threat to marine fauna, high salinity reduces agricultural yields and phosphate discharges facilitate the development of certain plants to the detriment of others.

Fortunately, it is not too late to reverse the trend, says UNEP.

« It is possible to begin to restore the condition of rivers that have been heavily polluted and there is still plenty of room to prevent more waterways from becoming contaminated, » says Jacqueline McGlade.

Water quality control system, wastewater treatment, use of wetlands as filters, etc. « We have the tools to tackle this problem » and « it’s time to use them to combat what is slowly becoming one of the biggest threats to health and development around the world, » concludes the specialist.

J’ai eu la chance d’être présenté à Vangelis lors d’un concert qu’il donnait à Athènes en Grèce. Nous étions depuis devenus des amis très proches. Ce que nous avions de commun Vangelis et moi, c’est de composer la musique sans ne jamais l’écrire.

« Alpha » tiré de l’album « Albedo 0.39 » est le titre qui me fit connaitre ce compositeur de génie malheureusement disparu aujourd’hui.

I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Vangelis at a concert he was giving in Athens, Greece. We had since become very close friends. What Vangelis and I had in common was that we composed music without ever writing it down.
