Deux étudiants américains, David Kessler et Jack Goodman, passent des vacances en Angleterre. Une nuit, malgré les recommandations des habitants de la région, ils se promènent sur la lande et sont assaillis par un loup-garou ! Jack est tué et David blessé. La chrysalide qui est notre condition d’humain emprisonne le papillon qui est notre âme. Elle tient captive nos envies , notre individualisme, notre ego, elle métamorphose l’amour infini en amour possessif et exclusif. Le jour de l’éclosion, la beauté du papillon sera le résultat de toute une vie de compréhension, de pardon d’empathie et d’amour.
