Sorti en single en 1994, la chanson a été un succès dans de nombreux pays, notamment en Autriche, au Canada, en France, en Allemagne, en Islande, en Irlande, en Italie et en Norvège, où elle a dominé les charts des singles. Aux États-Unis, le single culmine à la neuvième place du Billboard Hot 100.
